We had a lovely stay at this hotel, especially because it was so close to Beamish Museum, which made our trip easy and enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were accommodating, especially when they upgraded our room to meet our needs. However, the breakfast service could use a bit of improvement as we felt the initial welcome was a bit lacking. Overall, we found it to be great value for the price we paid, particularly with the included amenities and restaurant options.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the positive side, the location is fantastic for visiting Beamish Museum, and the breakfast options were quite good. However, I found the dining experience for dinner lackluster, and the service during that time was not up to par, which was disappointing. Additionally, the cleanliness in our room could have been better. Overall, there are some highlights, but some areas need improvement.

However, the dining options did not quite meet our expectations, and the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The overall service was decent, but they missed acknowledging a special occasion we mentioned during our booking.
